Terra Terrall

Terra E. Terrall is a Senior Auditor in Stanford University’s Internal Audit & Institutional Compliance Department. She joined the department in October 2012 and performs financial, operational, information technology and compliance audits. Prior to joining Stanford, Terra worked for leading consulting organizations including AlixPartners, LLP, Ernst & Young, LLP and Accenture.

Terra has over 16 years of information technology, business process management consulting and auditing experience in various industries, including manufacturing, research and development, chemicals, aerospace and defense, and finance. Her responsibilities included internal and external audit, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, ISO27k, development and deployment of audit programs, risk analysis, gap assessments, IT Program Management, system implementation projects and continuous process improvement projects.

Ms. Terrall holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. She is Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Association of College & University Auditors (ACUA).
