Visual Arts

About

The visual arts punctuate the Stanford campus in many ways. The developing arts district is anchored by the Cantor Arts Center, an encyclopedic museum with an extensive outdoor collection, and the Department of Art & Art History. With the arts spreading across campus in various locations, the opportunities to make and see art are inescapable.

In 2014 the Anderson Collection at Stanford University will open to the public and in 2015 the Department of Art & Arts History will relocate to the McMurtry Building designed by Diller Sofidio + Renfro.
