Projects
Each year BioAIMS tries to put together projects that may help enhance the experience of students in the Biosciences with a focus on promoting diversity. In the past, we’ve held events that match first year students that arrive in the summer with more senior student mentors (Summer Bridge Program), organized retreats for team-building and networking (Biosciences and Genetics Diversity Retreat), and held events that allowed students to explore job opportunities in the public and private sectors with regard to policy (Diversifying Academia and Beyond Career Development Trip).
