Emma is a Research Engineer at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE), Singapore. She has a passion for regenerative medicine and her research has focused on biomedical materials and tissue engineering. Emma has a background in biotechnology and obtained her PhD in biomedical sciences pursuing the development of novel compounds for bone tissue engineering and the design of scaffolding materials to optimize drug release. In IMRE, she has been involved in industry collaborations to enhance the performance of biomedical materials
