Andrea spends much of her time working to better the system in which she finds herself. She has been on the leadership of the Green Living Council for three years and works tirelessly towards sustainable living in her community here at Stanford.  Through Green Living Council, she has advocated for and helped plan sustainability initiatives in a variety of Stanford residences.

This summer, Andrea worked for the Environmental Defense Fund, creating clean energy advocacy tools and conducting energy policy research. She engages in thoughtful environmental and social action; carefully choosing her battles so that she understands her impact and stays grounded to the communities she wants to help.
