Portion used

A single frame from the video-game/media concerned: because the image is a screenshot, the entire image is needed to place the image in context with relation to the work from which it is sourced ,and to accompany any relevant commentary given in the associated article.

Low resolution?

The screenshot is of sufficient resolution for commentary and identification but lower resolution than the original game or media. Copies made from it will be of inferior quality, unsuitable as artwork on unathourised versions or other uses that would compete with the commercial purpose of the original artwork.

Purpose of use

Section. The image is used for identification and clarifcation in the context of critical commentary of the work from which the screenshot is taken. It makes a significant contribution to the user's understanding of the article, which could not practically be conveyed by words alone. The image is placed at the beginning of a section discussing the work, to help the user quickly identify the work and know they have found what they are looking for.Use for this purpose does not compete with the purposes of the original work, a single lo resolution frame, being of comparativly low commerical value.

Replaceable?

As a screenshot of a copyrighted video-game or audio visual presentation, the image is not replaceable by free content; any other image captured from the same work would also be copyrighted, and any version that is not true to the original would be inadequate for identification or commentary.
