Join us for a tour of the new Stanford Hospital construction site. Construction is currently underway to build the new Stanford Hospital facility at 500 Pasteur Drive in Palo Alto.

The new 824,000 square foot facility will include 368 private patient rooms (for a total of 600 beds on site), a new Level-1 Trauma Center more than twice the size of the current ED, state of the art diagnostic and treatment rooms, five gardens and a new parking structure. A pedestrian bridge and underground tunnel will connect the new building to the existing facility located at 300 Pasteur Drive.

Construction of the new hospital building is scheduled to be completed in 2017. The new hospital is expected to open for patient care in early 2018.

ALL tour participants must wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes (work boots or hiking boots) in order to access the construction site. Participants must wear long shirts and long pants; no dresses, skirts or scrubs are allowed.

***Tours begin at 3 p.m. sharp. Please arrive at 2:45 pm for required check-in and to pick up your safety gear.

The new Stanford Hospital project team reserves the right to deny entrance to the site at any time. Read the NSH Site Tour Policy here.
