Personal bio
Roger Romani is an astrophysicist interested in neutron stars, black holes and other relativistic, high energy sources. After an AB (Princeton 1983) and PhD (Caltech 1987) and stints at UC Berkeley and the Institute for Advanced Study he joined the Stanford faculty in Physics in 1991. His work encompasses observational studies and theoretical modelling of radiation from across the electromagnetic spectrum -- `I never met a photon I didn't like.' Away from work, he swims on the Stanford Masters team and sings in several local ensembles. Currently teaching |
