Applying for Aid

Late Applicants

If you have missed the priority filing date for your aid application, you may still apply for financial aid. You should complete all filing requirements as soon as possible. Please keep the following in mind:

  • Your award letter may not be ready until after the standard notification dates;
  • The student responsibility portion of your award may be higher than the standard amount;
  • Certain types of financial aid may no longer be available by the time your application is processed.

The CSS PROFILE application is available only until February 14 of the academic year for which you are applying for aid. If you are applying after February 14, you should immediately complete the FAFSA application. Next, you should submit a complete, signed copy of your parents' most recent federal 1040 tax return and W-2 forms to the Financial Aid Office (FAO). Students applying for the 2014-15 academic year should submit documents from the 2013 tax year. You may fax these documents to (650) 725-0540 or drop them off at the FAO in Montag Hall, 355 Galvez Street.
