How to Get Support
IRT provides a central Medical School-wide computing support to all faculty, staff and students at the School of Medicine, and we integrate existing, department-based support personnel with a centralized Service Desk.
IRT offers multiple support options:
- Submit a web-based Help Request.
- Call 5-8000. We provide remote desktop support for Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Mac OSX computers. We are available for immediate assistance from 8AM to 5PM (Monday through Friday). An on-call service handles emergencies after hours.
- Use the searchable self-help information available at Stanford Answers.

If you contact the Service Desk, and we are unable to successfully complete your request, we can transfer your request to your local/departmental IT staff.
