The overarching goal of our research program is to develop novel analytical and computational tools to enhance the role of medical imaging in clinical decision making. Specifically, we focus on the development of quantitative imaging biomarkers for more accurate diagnosis, prognosis, and early prediction of response to cancer therapy. The other major focus of our research is to improve the accuracy and precision of radiation therapy, through the development of computational tools for MRI-based radiation treatment planning and image-guided radiation therapy.
