Surgical Program

The pediatric cardiovascular surgical program at Stanford includes 2 full-time surgeons, and is headed by Dr. Frank Hanley. Dr. Hanley enjoys an international reputation for innovation and excellence in complex neonatal surgery, including the unifocalization procedure for pulmonary atresia.

Dr. V. Mohan Reddy is nationally recognized for his contributions to complete correction of complex cardiac lesions in the neonate. The pediatric cardiac surgical volume for the year 2004 was approximately 550 cases.
