FALL 2010 DISCUSSION GROUP

WHAT: A discussion group for Join other Spanish speaking fellows and postdoctoral students who share similar
 concerns about adaptation/acculturation to the Stanford culture. Some of the issues to be discussed are:

*Feeling homesick & challenges adjusting to the culture
*Navigating through expectations of the experience at Stanford University
*Establishing connections with colleagues

WHEN: Mondays, beginning November 1, 2010 for 6 weeks (11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 11/29 & 12/6)

TIME: 4‐5:00 pm

WHERE: Mariposa House, 585 Capistrano Way

GROUP FACILITATOR: Ximena Zurita, PhD Group is free for all Stanford fellows and postdocs
