Activities

Sparks

Ever wanted to learn about entrepreneurship without adding course units? Sign-up for a Spark! These new, quick hits of entrepreneurial knowledge and skill are taught by Stanford lecturers or members of the local entrepreneurial community.

Each Spark consists of three night sessions, one night a week for three weeks. Sparks are open to all members of the Stanford community, but space is limited, so register early to claim your space to charge up your entrepreneurial mindset.

Leadership Lunches

Sit down and break bread with Silicon Valley leaders to gain professional and entrepreneurial insights in a focused, but relaxed format. Lunch is provided at the Stanford Faculty Club by STVP.

Apply early for a spot at the next event, as each Leadership Lunch is limited to just six currently enrolled Stanford students.

I-Corps

Funded by the National Science Foundation, the Bay Area Innovation Corps is a collaboration between Stanford and other top universities in the region to provide free online training and in-person activities based on the proven “Lean LaunchPad” methodology to accelerate the commercialization of science and foster technology entrepreneurship.

If you have a team in place locally and a tech innovation with business potential, the Bay Area NSF I-Corps program wants you.

Stanford Entrepreneurship Network

The Stanford Entrepreneurship Network is a federation of university programs and student groups offering opportunities for the Stanford community to learn and explore various aspects of entrepreneurship. Member organizations collaborate on events, and meet often to discuss and share new initiatives.

The entrepreneurial ecosystem at Stanford is rich and diverse, with deep ties to the Silicon Valley region. STVP specifically encourages all Stanford students to learn about the member organizations and to seek out programming and opportunities that complement your education in this very special place.
