Leadership Dinners have limited seating and students are required to submit a $50 deposit check. If you do not attend the entire dinner (5-8PM), your $50 check will be cashed by Stanford University.

Leadership Dinners bring proven leaders from various arenas together with a small group of graduate students for dinner and informal discussion about what it means to be a leader and to lead organizations, movements, and people.

Jane Shaw, director, Yahoo! Inc

Dr. Jane E. Shaw, PhD, served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Aerogen Inc. from 1998 to June 30, 2005. Dr. Shaw founded Stable Network in 1995 and served as a Consultant in the biopharmaceutical industry since that time. She held various scientific and management positions with ALZA Corporation from 1970 to 1994 and served as its President and Chief Operating Officer from 1987 to 1994. She worked at Intrabiotics Pharmaceuticals Inc. She serves as Chairperson of Advisory Board at Aerogen Ltd. She served as Non-Executive Chairman at Intel Corporation from May 2009 to May 17, 2012 and as its Independent Director from 1993 to May 17, 2012. She serves as Director of Aerogen Ltd. She has been a Director of Yahoo! Inc since June 2014. Dr. Shaw serves as Director of Talima Therapeutics, Inc. and AeroSurgical Ltd. She served as a Director of Nektar Therapeutics from 1998 to June 2005 and Aerogen Inc. since 1998. She served as a Director at Mckesson Corporation since April 1992 until July 30, 2014. She served as a Director of OfficeMax Incorporated from 1994 to April 20, 2006. In 2010, she was a recipient of the prestigious ODX Outstanding Directors Award for her performance in industry as a public company director. She received a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physiology from Birmingham University in England.
