Critical Limitations:

See manufacturer for product weight limits.

Loose connections such as straps looped around equipment will provide enhanced protection only if the straps are attached securely and kept tight enough to prevent unwanted motion. Loose connections will allow equipment to move or vibrate during an earthquake and will provide only minimal protection.

Any straps connecting equipment to the wall or desktop must be kept tight in order to provide enhanced protection.

Minimum charge from SU Labor Shop is $80/hour plus materials.  Labor Shop estimates up to four units can be installed in approximately two hours.  Restraining multiple units at one time will decrease the per unit installation cost.
