Project Description: Request by Jim Inglis of Stanford Real Estate on behalf of Leland Stanford Jr. University for Major Architectural Review Board review for the demolition of 67,000 square feet of existing commercial development floor area and construction of 116,000 square feet of new floor area for a two story research and development building on a 8.5 acre site located at 1701 Page Mill Road. The project includes a Design Enhancement Exception for an encroachment into the 35 foot maximum height limit. Environmental Assessment: A Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring Program was prepared for this project. Zone District: Service Commercial (RP). Planning approvals were completed in October 2012. Building permit was issued in April 2013.
