Nuveen AMT-Free Municipal Value Fund (the Fund) is a closed-end management investment company. The Fund's primary investment objective is to provide current income exempt from regular federal income tax by investing primarily in a portfolio of municipal obligations issued by state and local government authorities or certain territories of the United States. The Fund invests its assets in long-term municipal bonds and other assets less liabilities. The Fund's portfolio includes its investments in municipal bonds of various states and territories, such as Illinois, California, Florida, Indiana, Colorado, Texas, Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Nevada and Arizona. The Fund's investment portfolio includes its investments in sectors, such as tax obligation/limited, healthcare, transportation, utilities, consumer staples, the United States Guaranteed and other.
