STANFORD, Calif. -- Simone Manuel, Lia Neal and Stanford Associate Head Coach Tracy Duchac will represent Team USA against European All-Stars at the Duel in the Pool on Friday and Saturday.
Duchac will serve as an assistant coach for Manuel, Neal and the Americans at the iconic Indiana University Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI in downtown Indianapolis.
This year will mark the seventh Mutual of Omaha Duel in the Pool, held every other year since the 2003 inception. The U.S. is undefeated and holds a 6-0 all-time record in the competition, including a 132-131 win in Glasgow, Scotland in the last meeting in 2013.
Last week, Manuel won two titles at the AT&T Winter Nationals (50 and 100 free), while Neal, a 13-time All-America honoree, earned a win in the B final of the 50 free.
The meet will be comprised of 15 events per gender (13 individual and two relays) and swimmers can compete in a maximum of six events (individual and relays).
