Jacobs on Stanford
"I always really wanted to have an elite education and use rowing to the best of my advantage in order to get that education. I was looking at schools on the East coast and visited an Ivy League school and realized it wasn’t me. I came to Stanford and it was so different from what I experienced back East. I grew up in the Bay Area and Stanford had that creative vibe known in the Bay Area."
