Humane Tip of the Month! It’s all too common for pet snakes to get burned by unprotected or malfunctioning heat sources! Spot lights and other heating elements should be helpful, not harmful. Due to a primitive nervous system, snakes may not move away when temperatures escalate. Resulting wounds require veterinary treatment. Consult with an expert to verify that you’ve got the right appliances in the right places.
