The Basics

Stanford students stand out for their academic excellence. They come from throughout the United States and the world, representing demographic, economic and racial diversity.

U.S. citizens and eligible noncitizens are admitted on a need-blind basis. Stanford is committed to making a world class education possible for every admitted undergraduate who qualifies for financial assistance. Once here, students discover that exploration, challenge and curiosity have no limit.
