About PTA Manager and PTA Maintenance
PTA Manager is an online tool that enables schools and departments to request, approve and track non-sponsored and miscellaneous accounts receivable accounts (PTAs). PTA Maintenance, a sub-component of the PTA Manager system, allows schools and departments to update PTA attributes for existing accounts (PTAs). PTA Maintenance replaced the ePTA Maintenance tool.
Sponsored accounts are initiated using SeRA (Stanford Electronic Research Administration).

PTA Manager is an online, easy-to-use tool that enables schools and departments to request, approve and track accounts (PTAs).
Why Use PTA Manager?
PTA Manager provides the following benefits:

Routes PTA requests through one or multiple approver(s) and FYI contacts and notifies the appropriate fund accountant when the request is ready for processing

Provides visibility into the status of each PTA request, and the individuals participating in the workflow (requestor, approver, and fund accounting)

Utilizes system controls to ensure data entered by campus users and central administration is accurate
- Documentation Repository
Maintains uploaded donor documents that can be easily accessed for review
- Shorter Process Time
Expedites the approval process by automatically routing and tracking the electronic PTA form data, donor documents, communications, and approvals
Integration with Gift Transmittal System
PTA Manager system is integrated with the Gift Transmittal system. When a gift requires a new fund or account (PTA), the Gift Transmittal system will send an email notification to the designated department administrator with instructions to log in to the PTA Manager system and complete the PTA set-up. About PTA Maintenance
PTA Maintenance is a sub-component of the PTA Manager system. This tool makes it simple for schools and departments to update PTA attributes for existing accounts (PTAs). As of February 2014, PTA Maintenance replaces the ePTA Maintenance system for updating PTAs.

Allows you to view all scheduled update transactions, completed update transactions, and the attribute update history of specific PTAs

Attribute changes can be scheduled to take place either immediately or on a future date

Mass updates of multiple PTAs can be made with a single transaction
- System Alerts
System-generated emails alert users when Manager and Owner values become invalid and when updates take effect
Integration with PTA Manager System
