AYA Cancer Innovation & Research

Because some cancers in adolescents and young adults are so rare, many patients are referred to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford or Stanford Health Care because of our expertise and experience in treating conditions like lymphomas, leukemia, sarcomas, brain tumors, and germ cell tumors. Through innovation and research, the AYA Cancer Program is:

Improving treatment outcomes by enrolling patients in clinical trials and research studies
Advancing psychosocial care by launching clinical trials to evaluate the individual needs of AYA patients and determine how to best address these needs
