Four sections of pipeline on Junipero Serra on PG&E’s top 100 list

PG&E released the following documents to Stanford today highlighting four sections of pipeline on Junipero Serra that are on the company’s “top 100″ list. The company says the segments of pipe have “potential for corrosion.” It ranks the Stanford pipeline segments #56, 60, 61 and 62 on its list of 100 segments for long-range planning. The utility company says the system showed improvement in 2009 and that it plans no further action right now. University spokeswoman Lisa Lapin said Stanford officials have asked PG&E for a meeting to explain today’s information, which she called “sketchy.”
