Women’s water polo live blog: 2015 National Championship Game

Welcome to The Daily’s live blog of the 2015 NCAA Women’s Water Polo Championship Game between the Stanford Cardinal and UCLA Bruins. It will be the fourth meeting of the season between these two teams — Stanford has won two of the three — and a rematch of the 2014 championship game, which the Cardinal won 9-5.

Much is at stake for Stanford: its fourth women’s water polo title in the last five years, and the continuation of the school’s 38-year streak of winning at least one national championship — the longest in the nation. Stay tuned to our live blog here all afternoon and follow us on Twitter at @StanfordSports for live updates and analysis.
