Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

Bio

Dow Maneerattana is the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager for the Forests Program. She is responsible for guiding overall monitoring and evaluation effort to systematically capture and demonstrate initiative results and impact. She works closely with Global Forest Watch, the Global Restoration Initiative, and Forest Legality Alliance on M&E for proposal design, monitoring tools and systems, reporting, and evaluations.

Prior to WRI, Dow worked on performance and impact evaluations of governance programs in Cambodia, Guatemala, Burkina Faso and South Korea. She also built institutional M&E capacity through technical guidance, trainings and e-learning as a program officer at the National Democratic Institute. She was a consultant with international development organizations, Pact and MSI, government institutions and private sector. Dow has a background in labor and human rights and has led advocacy campaigns with United Farm Workers.

Dow earned an MA in International Development Studies from George Washington University and a BA in Criminology, Law and Society from University of California, Irvine. In her spare time, Dow enjoys playing tennis and volunteering with Asian American Lead.
