    The Ralston site is located north of228 Blairs Ferry Road, just south of Dry Run Creek, and about Y2 mile east of C A venue on the north side of Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa (see Figure 1 ). The site was formerly used for industrial waste disposal. The disposal area occupies 1.5 acres and is enclosed with a fence with a locked gate.
