Background Report: Recommendations on Guidance for Diagnostic X-Ray Studies in Federal Health Care Facilities

The Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) formed an Interagency Working Group on July 5, 1974, to develop guidance to reduce unnecessary radiation exposures from the use of x-rays in the healing arts in Federal health care facilities.
