Region 8

Climate Change

Human activities, such as the burning of fossil fuels for electricity and transportation, are causing our atmosphere to heat up and our oceans to become acidic.

Addressing this growing threat to our environment is a priority for EPA Region 8. We seek to lead by example, as well as build knowledge and encourage actions by individuals, communities, businesses, states, local governments, and tribes. On this Web site, we provide links to a variety of information and resources EPA has to offer.
