Description: A forum of individuals from the Stanford Community who have involvment using cannabis as medicine. Our mission is to improve the understanding or the benefits and risks of medical marijuana and its relationship to other medicine and wellness. Medical doctors and patient experiences will be treated with equal weight in evaluating the credibility of cannabis, what conditions are treatable, where should more research be done.

Description: We are committed to bridging the connection between Stanford Black Alumni living in Seattle and the surrounding areas of Western Washington.  Our goal is to provide opportunities for networking, minority outreach, enjoying local events and providing Alumni support for Stanford University.

Stanford Alumni Startups New York (SASNY) is a Stanford Alumni group that strengthens Stanford startups by fostering a community of entrepreneurs and investors in NY. Doing a startup is hard. SASNY is a Stanford only group that offers entrepreneurs an opportunity to interact with fellow entrepreneurs and investors, and get feedback, mentorship and support. Our events include speakers, startup pitches, general networking and brief presentations.

Description: Why Stanford On Mars? To beat Cal, of course! Stanford On Mars was conceived by members of the Class of 2015 and partially inspired by the Stanford on the Moon group. We aim to bring together professors, students and alumni in support of advancing education in the 21^st Century through human research and development of Mars and a significant presence in Mars for Stanford University by the year 2065.

Description:

Stanford Alumni Auto Immune Resource and Support (“STAAIRS”) is an alumni group for people who suffer from Auto-Immune Disorders, e.g. RA, Lupus, IBD, and MS.   The goal of this group is to provide a forum to share resources (e.g. diet ideas, alternative medicines, and info on advances in treatment and diagnosis);  as well as support from others who understand the ups and downs a chronic disease. Description: SA&E London is building a trusted community of angels and entrepreneurs, providing education on startup investing and raising money, and facilitating angel investments and advisor relationships. 

We provide an inside look into the innovations being created within the Stanford community in Europe. We want to foster the Stanford spirit in one of the fastest growing startup hubs in Europe -- London!

Description: Stanford Professionals in Energy (SPIE) aims to build on Stanford’s leadership in energy research and innovation by providing a platform for real-world professional development and engagement. SPIE will serve as a networking platform for Stanford alumni across the energy sector: renewables, utilities, developers, oil and gas, biofuels, EVs, etc. We will launch in June 2015 in the Bay Area and DC, but we plan to eventually span the globe!
