LBRE Operations Center & Work Control
The LBRE Operations Center provides facility related response and urgent call services for Stanford University. We receive thousands of calls each year ranging from on-line requests for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and other issues, to facility related urgent requests requiring immediate response. The "Ops Center" is the central hub for all facility related request or response in support of the functional spaces used for teaching, learning and research at Stanford University.
The Ops Center strives to provide excellent service using an "on-line" service model which facilitates the ability to quickly gather pertinent information and respond in the least amount of time. Non-urgent requests are prioritized by measure of importance. Most requests are answered within 1-2hrs.
The Operations Center celebrated its 1 year anniversary on May 15th, 2015!

Meet Our Staff
Paul Cardoso
Work Control Manager
Paul is the Work Control Manager for LBRE Support Services. He oversees the Operations Center, work order management system (Oracle eAm) and ensures business responsibilities are conducive to quality customer service, productivity, budgetary alignment, and instills continual process improvements. He is also accountable for delveloping key performance indicators (KPI) and benchmarking with peer Educational Facilities. He has 14 years of varied work experience from being a Airframe and Power plant (A&P) Mechanic at United Airlines to a Operations and Maintenance Manager at Bombardier Transportation.

Octavio Pena
Support Services Manager
Octavio is a Maintenance Planner for LBRE Support Services. He is currently performing a Temporary Assigned Role of the Operations Center Manager. He has been through a wide range of roles at Stanford within LBRE, IT, and R&DE since 1993. Over the years, he has been a Student Manager to Plant Services Dispatcher. His knowledge and experience around campus are vital for the success of the Operations Team. He holds a Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, and he played collegiate football at Portland State University.

Erik Pickering
Maintenance Planner
Erik is a Maintenance Planner for LBRE Support Services. He comes to us from owning his own buisness where he managed, operated and oversaw day-to-day operations of more than 300 customers, and three employees at Bay Area Pool & Spa for 15 years. He holds a specialty license in pool construction, repair, and landscaping. Erik specializes in asset and work order management using Oracle eAm.

Liz Jackson
Maintenance Planner
Liz is a Maintenance Planner for LBRE Support Services. She started working at Stanford University in 1999 for the School of Medicine (SOM) in various jobs from Facilities Coordinator to an Administrative Associate. Before Stanford, she worked for Williams Sonoma Corporate Offices in San Francisco, obtained her Building Operator Certificate (BOC), and a Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certificate that gives her the ability to work for Emergency Call Centers.

Ana Gayle Arguelles
Maintenance Planner
Ana is a Maintenance Planner for LBRE Support Services. She previously held a Leadership position with our LBRE-Afterhours contractor. In her role there, she built a website to allow for better communication, built metrics for google forms, and created an Afterhours training program to help her team members get up to speed quickly. She has five years of varied work experience from being a service member at McDonalds to working as an assistant team leader at Call Centers for T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile in the Philippines. She reads and writes fluently in Tagolog.

Jack Rosenhan
Maintenance Planner
Jack is a Maintenance Planner at LBRE Support Services. He comes to us from the Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (DAPER) where he worked in the Daper Office of Development for seven years as a Administrative Associate. Jack holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) national "A" coaching license and was a Director/Coach for the USSF Olympic Development Program at the regional/national level. Jack grew-up on the Stanford campus as both his parents were professors here.
