Buzz brings a background in medical devices and wireless healthcare. Buzz spent 5 years designing robotic surgical tools at Intuitive Surgical. Buzz served as the lead engineer on six released products, and helped to expand the procedure base into the gynecology, cardiac, ENT, and General Surgery markets. Most recently, Buzz worked at Mohr Davidow Ventures where he worked in the wireless healthcare space. As a graduate student, he developed a wireless ankle brace to prevent falls in the elderly as well as a robotic surgical training platform for the Stanford Hospital. Buzz has three filed patents in the medical device and wireless space.

Buzz holds an MS and BS from Stanford University in Mechanical Engineering, where he focused in Smart Product Design and Medical Device Design. He also holds an MBA from the UC Berkeley.
