Dr. Yujiro Maeda DDS, PhD is working for starting-up Biodesign program in Tokyo. He is an Assistant Professor of Medical Innovation Initiative of The Univarsity of Tokyo and Advisor of a venture capital/consulting private company. He joined Stanford Biodesign as a Visiting Instructor from Japan and was certificated Completion Global Faculty Training of Biodesign in 2014. He obtained his DDS from Kyushu University School of Dentistry in 2006 and PhD of Medicine from Graduate School of Medicine of The University of Tokyo in 2013. He had worked in Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Division of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine of The University of Tokyo Hospital as a Clinical Fellow. His clinical interests are Cleft lips and palate surgery, Orthognathic surgery, Reconstruction surgery, Bone grafting surgery and Dental inplants. He is certificated as a specialist by Japanese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He had worked for Division of Global Business of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co.Ltd. He is also interested in Global Health innovation as an alumni of Global Health Leadership Program of The University of Tokyo
