Biotechnology and innovation have played a major role in each step of Jonathan’s budding career. He pursued undergraduate training in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, working in a materials science research lab on cardiovascular applications of novel biomolecules. He also worked in the Biomaterials Center at Medtronic, Inc., creating and refining biomolecular coatings for investigational devices. His research has spanned from basic science lab work, to translational projects, to clinical research in both the clinical and industry settings. Jonathan is currently in his second year of Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship training at the Stanford University School of Medicine, and plans to seek advanced training in Interventional Cardiology.
