Justin recently received his biomedical engineering Master's student from Northwestern University. His research focused on infection prevention in chronic percutaneous prosthetic implants at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Before attending graduate school Justin spent 4 years working at American Medical Systems as a Research and Development Engineer. During his time there he earned an AMS Innovation Award for the identification of a new market opportunity as well as several product prototypes to fulfill unmet customer needs. Outside of the office Justin works to further STEM education, most notably with the FIRST Robotics Competition where he has served for the past 4 years as a team mentor and as a regional judge.
