Benjamin B. Gong joined Intuitive Surgical, Inc. in November 1997 and currently serves as the Vice President of Finance & Treasurer. Prior to Intuitive, Mr. Gong served as the Group Controller for the Computing and Consumer Products Divisions at VLSI Technology, Inc. Mr. Gong has also held financial management positions at Sun Microsystems. Additionally, he was a management consultant at Ernst and Young LLP. For the past 11 years Mr. Gong has been leading the majority of the Finance activities at Intuitive. Mr. Gong received a B.S. from Stanford University and an M.B.A from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
