Dennis Donohoe is currently a manager at Donohoe Clinical Consulting, LLC. In 1986, he joined McNeil Pharmaceutical of Johnson and Johnson as Assistant Director of Clinical Research and was later promoted to Associate Director of Clinical research. He went on to assume the position of Associate Director of Clinical Research at Glaxo Pharmaceutical. While at Glaxo, Mr. Donohoe was responsible for various clinical trials, including an antidepressant, a non-sedating antihistamine, a recombinant Hepatitis B vaccine, an oral hypoglycemic, and an antiemetic. In 1991, Dr. Donohoe joined Ethicon, Inc of Johnson & Johnson as Director of Medical Affairs where he was responsible for the clinical testing of a varity of surgical devices used in laprascopic surgery as well as other surgical devices such as sutures, meshes, bone anchors, and several drugs used to inhibit abdominal adhesions. In 1998, Dr. Donohoe assumed the position of Group Director of Clinical Research at Cordis and was later promoted to Vice President of Clinical Research where he was responsible for worldwide clinical development of coronary and endovascular devices. Dr. Donohoe received his M.D. in 1978 from Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
