Kit is passionate about bringing innovative, sustainable technologies and services to China and other emerging markets in Asia. Currently Kit is a Manager of Development Programs at Proteus Biomedical, Inc. Over the span of six years at Proteus, her role has evolved from engineering and clinical research to market and business development. She is currently leading an initiative on improving tuberculosis case management in China, in collaboration with the China CDC and the Gates Foundation. Prior to joining Proteus, Kit was part of a four-member multi-disciplinary team as a Stanford Biodesign Fellow. During a year-long fellowship the team identified and developed solutions for unmet clinical needs in cardiac electrophysiology and interventional cardiology; one of these solutions formed the basis for iRhythm Technologies, Inc. Kit holds a PhD and BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
