Kevin is a neurosurgery resident at Stanford in his fourth year of training. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and moved to California when he was three. He went to college at Caltech, where he majored in Biology and graduated with honors. He received his medical degree from UC San Diego. He has received grant support to perform research in the areas of plant genetics, neuro- developmental biology, and regenerative medicine. His interests include medical device innovation, translational medicine, and health policy. He hopes to have a career focused on pediatric neurosurgery.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys backpacking, traveling, reading, and training for triathlons.
