Robert Zider is a founder and partner at The Beta Group, a company founded to implement a systemic process of innovation. Mr. Zider founded the group in 1983 with backing from The Boston Consulting Group. Prior to founding Beta, he worked at The Boston Consulting Group, where he was a vice president from 1976 until 1983. From 1969 to 1971 Mr. Zider was an analytical engineer with Pratt & Whitney in the Advanced Engines Group. For several years he also served as a Lieutenant with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Mr. Zider received his B.S.C.E. in 1969 from the University of Virginia and his M.B.A. with Distinction in 1976 from the Harvard Business School.
