Stuart Goodman, M.D., Ph.D., is the Robert L. and Mary Ellenburg Professor in Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Goodman is also on the Bio-X Faculty, a Stanford University program dedicated to supporting, organizing, and facilitating interdisciplinary research connected to biology and medicine. Additionally, he works in the Arthritis and Joint Replacement Clinic at Stanford within the Orthopaedic Surgery Department. He was also an Associate Professor and Head of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery Department of Functional Restoration at Stanford. His specialties are in Orthopaedic Surgery, Surgery for Juvenile idiopathic arthritis of the hip and knee, joint preserving surgery for osteonecrosis of the hip and knee, Primary and revision hip and knee replacement, and Adult reconstruction-lower extremity. Dr. Goodman received his B.S., Sciences, his M.Sc., Institute of Medical Science, and his M.D. from the University of Toronto. He also received his Ph.D. from Lund University in Sweden.
