Throughout her career Dr. Turnbill has worked with America's leading CEO's at the largest and most innovative firms. She has worked with Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, General Mills, Macy's, Nike, Volvo, and so many more. Her work also extends aboard to countries such as India, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Great Britain. Her most recent appointment was director of the Process of Change, Innovation, and Design Laboratory at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. At Stanford, she also helped design innovative multidisciplinary courses with an emphasize for collaboration between the engineering and business schools. Additionally, she has served on the boards of several Dr. Turnbull has received numerous awards and honors from the distinguished Design Fellowship Award to the Trailblazer Award from the National Home Fashion League. She attended parsons School of Design. In May of 2003, she received an honorary doctorate from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco.
