Wil Samson is a managing director at Coronis Medical Ventures and a co-founder at Varix Medical Corp. Prior to joining Coronis, Mr. Samson was a senior executive for Damon Corporation and the USCI Division of C.R. Bard. He was also involved in the founding effort at Advanced Cardiovascular Systems in 1981 when it was a start-up venture. Additionally, Mr. Samson was a co-founder and the President and CEO of Cardeon Inc, a medical device company focused on protective heart surgery. Mr. Samson began his career at Pratt&Whitney Aircraft and the Hamilton Stanford divisions of United Technologies. While there he worked primary with jet engines and, on missile development, defense systems, and space exploration. He holds a BSME degree from the University of Hartford as well as an M.B.A from Babson Business College.
