Yashdeep is currently responsible for broadening and strengthening Stryker's innovation capabilities. He is partnering with divisions to develop innovation initiatives, creating platforms to encourage and foster collaboration, and helping Stryker develop a deeper understanding of our portfolio choices.

Yashdeep has a distinguished track record of leading and building new platforms of growth for Stryker. He joined the company in 1996 as a Design Engineer. He introduced smart battery solutions for power tools and led the launch of the first Navigation system. A strong desire to better understand the needs of our customers led him to develop the role of technical sales specialists. After delivering triple digit sales growth for two consecutive years he pioneered the launch of Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery solutions in the United States.

In 2006, Yashdeep relocated to India to develop Stryker's Global Technology Center (SGTC) as a start-up enterprise. He built a strong foundation and the SGTC now has successful global product development partnerships and has developed and launched products for emerging markets. In 2010, he was given additional responsibility as the Managing Director for India where he created a new group to focus on Hospital Infrastructure needs. He received the Managing Director of the Year award in 2011 across all Emerging Markets.

Yashdeep has a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, a MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
