Student organizations

A number of groups around campus have an interest in Biodesign-related topics and issues.

	Stanford Student Biodesign	This mostly undergraduate group aims to prepare students for careers in biotech, biomedical technology, bioengineering, and other fields at the intersection of life sciences and engineering. They offer career seminars, lectures, dinners with industry and faculty, community service opportunities, and hands-on innovation experience.
	GSB Health Care Club	The mission of the Health Care Club is to bring students with any level of interest or experience in health care together with alumni, industry experts, and thought leaders who share common interests. We are an interdisciplinary club, with membership from the business school, medical school, law school, biosciences program, and other medically-related programs.
	Business Association of Stanford Engineering Students	Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students' goal is to build the next generation of entrepreneurs by facilitating networking, discussion, education, and hands-on experience. BASES includes undergraduate and graduate students along with faculty members from all schools at Stanford including Business, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Humanities, and the Sciences.
	Asia-Pacific Student Entrepreneurship Society	The Stanford Society of Asian-American Engineers (SSAE) was founded in 1998 by Alex Liu and Zhengyu Huang under the guidance of advisor Professor Richard B. Dasher, as an organization dedicated to exposing and enhancing students at Stanford University to the opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region.
	GSB Environmentally Sustainable Business Club	The Environmentally Sustainable Business Club's goal is to inform students about the environmental concerns and opportunities that emerge in today's business world. Sustainable development and natural capital are important concepts for the business world to be familiar with, and through a recent initiative, the GSB has taken steps to become the leader in linking the environment to business strategy.
	Engineers for a Sustainable World - Stanford Chapter	We strive to improve the quality of life in underserved communities, through building partnerships with those who share our vision, and by developing the necessary perspectives and skill sets.
