Phase I
The genetic focus of ADVANCE Phase I used a candidate gene based approach to look for associations between SNPs in ~100 candidate genes and coronary disease phenotypes. The description of the cohorts used for this study can be found under the "Cohorts" tab. Tables describing the candidate genes and SNPs are also available here.
