Dr. Kaisa Still is an expert of knowledge management and innovation management.
Her academic background includes a M.Sc. in industrial engineering and management, and a Ph.D. in Information System Sciences. She also has extensive industry experience in Finland, USA and China. She currently works as a research scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
Exploring the relationships between people and technologies is especially exciting for her: how to make visible and measure (1) the collaborative and learning activities using technology, as well as (2) the impact or value of those activities supported by technology, leading to success and value creation. Her current work on innovation indicators and relational capital is partly a continuation of a mediaX white paper on Measuring Knowledge Work in 2011.
Dr. Still is a founding member of Innovation Ecosystems Network, a mediaX based initiative about transforming innovation ecosystems. She is looking forward to participating in and co-creating in the mediaX/HSTAR community, though she will be based in Finland and on campus only occasionally during the Visiting Scholar period.
