Clinical Chemistry Rotation
The VA Palo Alto rotation offers residents a two-month Clinical Pathology experience in a setting similar to what is found in a community hospital. Residents function as the laboratory director and take service calls from all sections of the lab, including chemistry, hematology, transfusion, microbiology, and molecular virology. In addition, there is ample time to study for boards and to pursue research projects.
