US citizens or permanent residents

Follow these steps in Axess to ensure your eligible local address appears in the P&TS database (Note that once you have updated your address in Axess it will take approximately two to three days to update in the P&TS database):

Step 1: Log into Axess

Step 2: Click the “Student” tab and scroll down to the “Personal Information” section.

Check: Do you have an address called “Stanford (local) address”?

  • If Yes:
    • Is it up-to-date? Congratulations, you don’t need to do anything else.
    • Do you need to update it? Go to step 3.
  • If No: Go to step 4 to ADD your local residential address.

Step 3: Update your address

3A. Click the label “Stanford (local)” to go to the screen of all of your addresses.

3B. Click “Edit” next to the “Stu Local” address type

3C. Enter your local residential address, then click “OK”

3D. Click “Save”

3E. Click “OK” to confirm. Go to Step 5.

Step 4: Add a “Stanford (Local) address”

4A. Select “Address” from drop down menu. Click Round Arrow.

4B. Click “Add A New Address”

4C. Enter your local residential address, then click “OK”

4D. Designate as “Stu Local” then click “Save”

4E. Click “OK” to confirm. Go to Step 5.

Step 5:
Wait three days or call P&TS at 650.723.9362 to ensure that your address has been updated before purchasing a Go Pass.
